    pr0n.

Set up a disposable email account and sign up for every dodgy website you can find (and make it obvious that an email address is there).

Then sit back and click on every link you can find in your spam/inbox.
A PSA, if I may, as well as another.

There's actually an even easier way, and you can CHOOSE which infection you're getting. I am currently attending college seeking a Bachelors Degree in Network Security, and in one of my classes this semester the professor showed us a site where all sorts of that type of thing is available for download, for purposes similar to what you seek.

Mods, I am not affiliated in any way with this site, I am merely answering the question and I apologize if this is construed in any way as advertising.

Offensivecomputing dot net is the site you seek. It looks like you have to register, but to my knowledge there is no fee to do so.

Browsing porn and such may lead to infection, but it isn't guaranteed. Also, it could lead to infections that are much more subtle than what you are looking for (or completely hose your system.) This way, you know EXACTLY what you're getting and you don't have to hit the "right" site to get it either.

Welp, spent 3 hours working on this last night.

I was following everyone's suggestion. Turned off the AV, turned off the firewall, turned down all security and privacy settings in IE. Clicked every banner ad, searched for things that my innocent little brain would refuse to process..... .....

          AND.... NOTHING!!

My only request involving those 3 hours of my life... Brain bleach... please????

try doing stuff thru facebook, myspace, or other dubious stuff that kids/n00bs mess around with when foraying into the WILD INTERNET (echoechoecho)

Since yesterday, my virus scanner seems to go nuts when I go on Facebook. They don't seem to show a lot of discretion when it comes to selling ad space.

My son used to have this really nasty virus that I stupidly caught a couple years ago, but I don't think he still has it. I got tricked by a message that come from one of my MSN contacts that asked "Are these your pictures?" and presented me with a link. Normally I know better, but this time I stupidly clicked on it, even ignoring the warnings my firewall was giving me. Once I didn't see any pictures, I knew I had been had. It blocked most of the sites and tools that I'd use to clean up, but it was easily defeated by going in thru safe mode.

Once I recovered from that, my son asked me for the file. He wanted to try it out on a machine that he was about to wipe anyway, just to see what it did. It's a good thing I caught it as quickly as I did, because within about 10 minutes the whole thing was pretty much unusable.

Once had an uncle who stayed home while we went to get pizza one night...

                    FFFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUU*******************KKK KKKKKKKKKKKKKK

                    Can I have a 'C' please?

In half an hour he managed to download one of the worst viruses of it's time, took me four hours to get rid of it and I have SKILLS! Lucky he didn't nuke the hard drive...this was back before the days of windows restore etc. He never touched a computer again after that...

Personally, why are you asking here? Sign up to a computer support forum, someone should be kind enough to send you some spyware/trojans etc if you ask nicely

Or to my uncle's kids who promised never to mess with his computer, and yet it ends up running at half speed after every time they visit >_>

Their record so far was 8800 (eight thousand eight hundred) active spyware/virus infections detected on the first pass of a linux-based (boot cd) scanner, AVCD. Not sure if it's still around. Before that first scan, it took ten full minutes to get from "Windows loads up and I can see the mouse cursor" to "Mouse cursor is able to move" on that puppy. I recommended the nuclear option.

Thanks, everyone, but after 9 hours of work, I found I can get the screen caps I need from some websites, so I'm giving up my hunt.

                          late to the party but

Also, I would have recommended doing an fresh install of windows while connected to a university network. Had a roommate do that once and I played hell to fix his computer as fresh windows XP is a breeding ground. Also, any anti virus on the radio like. doublemyspeed.com or finalyfast.com I think those were the sites most of those type just install a virus like program that you need to pay to remove for them to say your PC is fixed.
