Mobile Data Storage application

Is there a program where I can get like 2gb of online storage or less that will automatically sync with a folder on multiple computers, for free.

I've used programs before that updated folders with computers before but those all required both computers to be on at the same time which is not what I want.

I want to be able to do homework in whatever program I choose, save it to my folder and then go home turn on my other computer wait a few minutes for it to update and then continue my homework, leaving my backpack still completely packed for the morning when I need to go to school.
