Music Composer App

Does anyone know of any music apps? I have icomposer, which I enjoy, but some of the songs I wrote have notes that are too high to put on there.

PC or Mac? do you want to create your own music from scratch or use loops already created? Will you be recording any audio or playing direct from a keyboard or controller? What's your budget like? Do you already have a computer or are you looking for to upgrade?

I plan to put the music I wrote on a CD eventually so I will need sound. My main plan was to have it on my ipod touch so I could bring it with me wherever I go.
