Pro wrestling legend Terry Funk passed away at age 79.
As long as I've been a rasslin' fan, he's been there. When the local TV channels started playing the WWF, Terry and his brother 'Hoss' (Dory Jr.) were raising heck. When I started getting WCW, he was feuding with Ric Flair over the NWA/WCW World Title. I first heard about ECW because of Terry. He was in the main event of the first Japanese bootleg tape I ever got (the IWA Japan King of the Death Match show). Now that I'm picking up classic Japanese shows, Terry and Dory Jr. are all over the All Japan Pro Wrestling shows from the 70's and 80's.
