Must be nice. We're expecting 4-8 inches tomorrow. And Mrs. Crossbow flies home tomorrow, right into it.
I'm assuming you are talking about snow
That is a nice thing about living on the western end of Lake Erie, don't get the lake effect snow that those who live on the eastern side do. Hell, about 75% of the time we actually get the opposite affect. The snow will bounce (or split) to either the North or South of us and we will end up getting a fraction of what everyone else has.
Here in northern MN, the snow is coming down hard, with a lot of wind. Most of it's melting as soon as it hits anything, making the roads really slippery. They're predicting 8-12 inches by tomorrow morning.
I think Nature is trying to make up for the lack of snow so far this season. We normally have snow on the ground by Halloween, but this year, it's held off until last night.
"I look at the stars. It's a clear night and the Milky Way seems so near. That's where I'll be going soon. "We are all star stuff." I suddenly remember Delenn's line from Joe's script. Not a bad prospect. I am not afraid. In the meantime, let me close my eyes and sense the beauty around me. And take that breath under the dark sky full of stars. Breathe in. Breathe out. That's all."

Yes, I mean snow.
It's kinda fun. My house is about a mile from Lake Erie, close enough to actually get jumped over by lake effect snow. I usually get 1/4 what the rest of the area gets. If I get half an inch, my office 20 minutes away probably has several inches. My friend's mom's place in the snow belt? 8-12 inches of snow.

We have a wicked wind out of the north and some snowflakes here in Iowa, but nothing like what's hit the Dakotas, Nebraska and Minnesota today. I fear it won't be long until that nastiness finds us here, though.

Yesterday, it was nearly 75F here in Pittsburgh. Now, as I look outside, it's about 45F...and snowing. Yep, snow. Not laying in any amount though, as it's much too warm at ground level. Still, we're supposed to get it tonight and tomorrow as well. Considering the constant hot/cold temperature switch, Mother Nature really is a bitch. She's trying to kill me. I can handle the pain in my knees, I can handle the sinus issues (including the damn headaches), but not being able to breathe? Screw that.
