Curse EA, when I preordered the Full Spore Creature Creator I was informed that It'd be released on the 17th, and now, I came across an email syaing that it'd been pushed back...wait for it....5 days, may not seem a lot, but when I prepay for something, I except it to be available on the date that I was informed when i first preordered it.I am the nocturnal echo-locating flying mammal man.

Quoth LewisLegion View PostOk, somehow I COMPLETELY MISSED that there's a new downloadable 90 minute mission for Mass Effect now available.I'm still waiting for it to be release for the PC version. Bioware said they were going to release it at the same time as the PC version sale date. Naturally, it didn't happen. I want the extra stuff

For shame, for shame. I'm still waiting for it to be release for the PC version. Bioware said they were going to release it at the same time as the PC version sale date. Naturally, it didn't happen. I want the extra stuff

Quoth Eric the Grey View PostOk, I gotta ask. . . What online prog? Are they making another MMO or the "Insider?" The Insider looks pretty cool; I really like being able to customize and print out your character from it, but I'll withhold my opinion on the online bit until I see it in action.
But it's going to help folks who don't have anyone around interested in playing to pick up groups, and it'll help me and the wife play with a couple of friends who live in different states hook up with a few sessions here and there.
One's never played D&D before, but even without reading the books has decided he wants to be a Dragonborn, cause he wants to look like a dragon. The other has played, but his previous DM had his character raped by orcs... sooooo, he didn't play for long. Understandable, really. This way, they'll both be able to play a game with my wife as DM, and she's really rather good at that whole thing.
I'm leaning towards Ranger with this iteration, maybe going Eladrin, but the race isn't decided yet. All I know is I'm not playing a Human again. (I am going to miss the Goliath I'm currently playing as, though)

Although, one of my character (well I should say party, since the whole group was involved) actually managed to screw up badly enough to get raped by an horny deity. Damn that was interesting. But at least my character got out of it alive.
I wish that DM would get over his funk and get back to playing D&D. Ever since he got married...... oh well.I've lost my mind ages ago. If you find it, please hide it.

I just picked up the D&D 4th edition core books and am working on trying to convert some of the premade 3.5 Eberron adventures into 4th edition rules. Eberron popped my D&D cherry and now that I'm DMing, I want to revisit that world. I've been immersed in Forgotten Realms for so long, and though it's an awesome setting, I really like the dark nature and politics of Eberron.
Does anyone know if they'll be releasing an Eberron campaign setting and adventures for 4th edition, or do us Eberron fans have to do it ourselves?

Quoth Dilorenzo View PostMost likely you'll have to do it yourselves. D&D 4ths world is a very different place to previously described worlds. On top of that, they've said they're doing a fantasy world - that means little technology beyond, say, a plow, and no magitech (which I never much liked the idea of myself anyway).

I picked up the 4th ed yesterday of D&D (which is a story onto itself that I'm going to post in sightings.)
I...like it. A bit. There are things I don't like, but what used to get me into trouble with 3.5 is that I could never get the hang of rules (completely. I had wizard down pat and general game. When it came to more complicated things...eh.) These seem simplier, but since I'm not familiar with it yet, it took me hours to make a character. I still don't understand parts of character sheet. "attack workspace; action points; healing surges" and little things like that.
I guess when I really get down and read the book through completely, I'll understand better.
My group is going to stick with 3.5 for most of our campaigns, but we are starting a new one for 4th ed. Huzzah!
