Cards have gone in the mail. NO idea how long they will take to get to their destinations, of course.
No fancy stamps this time, sorry. There was a long lineup behind me at the postal substation so I just took the stamps that were easily available. Next year, maybe ... ?

Is that a bad thing or a good thing??
If it makes you feel better, the only international stamps I could get were flowers. My domestic stamps weren't holiday-specific, either (though they were winter themed).I don't go in for ancient wisdom

I just thought it was funny. So a good thing, I guess.

A couple of years ago I got some stamps that showed desserts and other goodies that originated in Canada, and they weren't the standard square or rectangular stamps ... some were shaped exactly like the food items. Haven't seen anything that interesting since then, tho.

Card from Dreamstalker has arrived, and most timely it is too ... we finally got snow today ... would've preferred it two weeks ago, but Mother Nature is being cantankerous.
Also the Christmas Chicken arrived from the csquared household.

Yippee-Pixilated's card has made it here! It was sent on the 8th and got here on the 12th,so it still managed to beat EricKei's card which appears to have been having a Christmas holiday somewhere or has had to cross the Atlantic by actually swimming over as it left Mississippi on 23/12 and has only just turned up today! The Copyright Monster has made me tell you that my avatar is courtesy of the wonderful Alice XZ.And you don't want to annoy the Copyright Monster.
