It's a 2017 movie titled Aliens: Zone of Silence. It's a horror/SF/found footage movie.
The basic story is a young woman goes searching in the Mexican desert for some evidence of what happened to her brother and his best friend, both of whom went looking for possible aliens in that same area of that same desert (named the 'Zona del Silencio'). It seems to be a land-based version of the Bermuda Triangle: things and people disappear with no explanation.
I'm just wondering if anybody has any theories about what happened to the three of them (yes, she disappears too, and the story makes it clear the disappearances were not caused by any human agency). Were they kidnapped? Killed?
