my oven sucks balls, bread has been in for just under and hour and the outside of the bread is very bread like, but the inside is still soup, already put the tin foil over it to help with that.

wolfie, you need to get an actual oven thermometer to guage what the real temp is. had that problem a lot with my oven. It's old. 350 is actually 360-ish, which makes a big difference in cooking and baking.

Whiskey, I think I paid 2.30-something the other day for gas.

ETA - these things. apparently they go up to 2001. usually see them in the Hallmark store and such. I've never seen them in one of our stores before. I was at a new store (well, opened last November but I hadn't been there yet) and they have a whole spinny rack of them.
