That's the part that really sucks: mom had gotten tickets for me, psycho sister, her boyfriend, her boyfriend's kids, and dad to go to my Aunt Debbie's birthday party in Florida. This is likely to have been my last chance to see my grandmother, what with her age and (apparently) rapidly failing health.

Was going to go down this morning (in about four hours), and come back Sunday morning. Busy weekend, but would have been worth it. Sucks.

Actually, that's why I'm awake still. Waiting to hear back, and see if we get to fly out of elsewhere. Unfortunately, canceling at this stage likely means we miss out entirely. The schedules from other locations left even less time to get down there and get together. IOW, we're probably not going to be able to go at all.

Btw: weird words are because I'm browsing CS on my phone. I try to keep things right, but I think I missed a few words here and there.

I have use of a working computer again! Mine gave up the ghost earlier today... which is really really bad when I need one before Monday morning if I want to keep my job.

Mytical has loaned me laptop of smokiness, and gave me permission to make it run faster... including removing "stuff" from it. So far, I've removed 10 gigs of ick from it... mostly toolbars and useless programs. Installing Malwarebytes now, and defragging is next on plan.

And using my inhaler. I'm allergic to the laptop!
