Ok.... home now, just ordered a new laptop that should be delivered on or before Friday (the one Mytical give to me to use is having LCD issues... screen goes white anytime the laptop movies, which most likely means that the ribbon connection for the LCD is loose or frayed... I'll look at it after I get my own laptop) and my kitties are so so so very happy to have their momma back... I can't move without kitties attached to my ankles, and Hana is curled up as a warm little ball next to my leg right now.

Oh yeah, and ordered a SATA enclosure from newegg so I can hopefully pull all the data from my old hard drive. Should hopefully get that about the same time as I get my new laptop, and then I can have fun getting that set up this weekend when I need "me time" while I'm at ConClave.

And now.... catching up on some responses:

spinach lasagna? Hmm, been a while since I made that. My go to lasagna is a vegetable lasagna florentine. It has spinach, mushrooms, onions, zucchini, chunks of tomatoes, all in a sauce that's been simmered the entire day before hand. Very labor intensive, but very good. I may even be convinced to make the past myself, too.

Ohhhh... this sounds so yummy! I'm not a vegetarian, but I've dated a couple and love vegetarian food. ^_^

I just got confirmation that our dear BE has indeed visited the optometrist's office and has left a note for the tech there. congratulations girl we are proud of you!!

Sooo....I'm debating whether I want to color my hair tonight. Strongly leaning towards doing so, actually. But, want to finish cleaning my apartment up first.

I want to dye my hair, but I can't do box dye. Sure, it'll all be one color, but it'll damage the fuck out of my hair. My girl was 75$ to put me back to brunette. I hope someone does it for my birthday or something because i look like a hot mess

There are some boxed dyes that aren't as bad as others... have you looked at the Garnier Nutrisse stuff? I actually use the Revlon Colorsilk on mine, 'cause it's cheap and doesn't noticeably damage my hair... my hair feels and looks better after I use it, actually. *shrug* But I would never use any of the Nice & Easy or Clairol stuff.... I didn't like how my hair felt after using that.

Yeah.... i like the nutrisse stuff too, but I've been poor lately so I've been using the colorsilk. Stupid long hair takes 2 boxes to dye. When my hair was waist length it took three!

Going back to the purple. ish. Right now, I'm sorta reddish ash brown. Ish.

I'm going to use the hair color that turned it eggplant-ish burgundy last time. So, yeah, back to purple.

I've highlighted my hair blonder a few times before...it looks REALLY pretty that way, but damn, I can't afford another $60...and that's the cheap-ass sucky place. Oh, well.

On top of that, I am not allowed to dye/grecian formula my hair. I look "dignified" with salt & pepper hair. One grey hair on her and its UGLY!!!!! Truth be told, I don't know how much grey hair she has. I get in trouble for looking too close.

It is also one of those double standards. When Lupo dies her hair purple, its "That is soooo cute!" If I die my hair purple, it would be "WTF!" Women get to have all the fun.
