I just couldn't help myself
I think this is the perfect place for this thread.
Phone rings and I answer with the usual greeting and get a cute lil' old lady on the other end.
Me: This is Camry178 speaking, how may I help you?
OL: (obviously did not pay attention to my greeting) Yeah, I've been waiting two hours for the window cleaning guy and he hasn't shown up yet.
Me: Well, he was just here a couple of days ago and our windows are nice and clean.
OL: Huh? Isn't this Frank from the window service?
Me: No ma'am it isn't. (trying to contain my snickering)
OL: Well I guess I better call him then.
Me: Ok. You have a great day ma'am.
OL: Thank you, you too.
This lady was a good sport about it. She never did find out who it was she called and I sure as hell wasn't about to tell her.
