This was an incident from tonight, also. I know there's already one in Sucky Customers about another diva, but I didn't want to include this story in that thread. If there's still a problem, mods, just let me know.
While I was getting ready to open the register tonight, we had a mother/son team show up with one of the band members. The son was 17, which was fine since his mother was going to be near him the whole time and I made sure he was clearly marked as a minor. We explained to the two of them that since he was under 21, he wouldn't be allowed to come downstairs for any reason.
A short while later, I needed to take a restroom break. I came back, and noticed that the mother and son were coming back in. For the sake of brevity, I'll summarize why she took off: since he wasn't allowed downstairs, she decided to take him to the Greyhound station nearby to use the restroom. They wouldn't let him, so they came back to the bar and pleaded with me to let him use the one downstairs.
I simply asked her why he didn't just use the one upstairs. The way her jaw dropped, I'm amazed it didn't break on the floorboards of Hell itself.
