So at the lameass caf I work at the water wells that keep the food hot needs to be drained every night into a bucket. The steaming, piping hot water that melts your face when you get too close.
So, my first dinner shift I chuck the bucket under there and open the valve. Now the valve extends into the bucket so you cant just slide the bucket out from under the counter because it'd get caught on the pipe, you have to angle it out... Consequently you can't let the water fill all the way up the bucket...
So... yeah. I let the water fill up too high, and when I put my hand under there to shut the valve, OW!!! So the water just kept pouring, and pouring... and pouring. Eventually in sheer panic I just ate the pain and shut off the damn thing, only after I nearly flooded half the cafeteria.
Man... No one liked me very much that night.
