It's short. A simple matter, really.
We've had some guests here for the past four nights who, instead of having the housekeepers come in and clean their room, are bringing us their dirty towels and sheets whenever they want new ones.
Yesterday the guy from that room took new sheets and a comforter down to the room and brought up the dirty sheets and comforter. As I took them away, he wandered over to the brochure table in the lobby to browse.
As I was stuffing the sheets and comforter into the washing machine, I noticed an odor, and the sheets were just a little bit damp with something or other... I brought my hand to my face, sniffed, and...
...You know how sometimes when you have a thought, it just comes blurting right out, sometimes very loudly? This was one of those times
With the guest out looking at brochures no more than thirty feet away, I yelled out, "Oh my God! It smells like cheese!!"
But, the guy didn't give any indication he'd heard me, so hopefully he didn't.
