  • Ever had one of those days?

Where you think you would forget your head if it was not attached to your body?

1st- Couldn't find my car keys. Looked everywhere. I know they are in my house..somewhere (cause I drove home lol), but no clue. Had to break out a spare set..lucky I had such a set.

2nd - Got half way to work. Forgot my badge, woops, time to turn around. I CAN function without it (we have a spare for just such an occasion) but rather not go that route.

3rd - Got half way to work...oops forgot my diner. Again something I can do without, but would rather not spend at the cafe at work. Cause it is kinda expensive.

4th - Realized I forgot my drink in my car, so I will have to go back out and get it tonight.

What can I say..I have a .. more important person my mind . Wait .. did I say person?

I once spent ten minutes trying to find my cell phone, and found it in my pocket that I must have patted at least ten times. I didn't find it until my boyfriend texted...

I just hope I don't have a big mess to clean up when I get home. Put a gallon jug of water up to get it nice and cold to bring to work..and forgot it. *sighs*

I saw that title, and all I could think of was the Elvis song 'Didja Ever'. Fun song to listen to.
Something kind of sad about the way that things have come to be.

Ever make a song list, lose it for a few years, and then find it? Lol, didn't even remember making it. Some of the songs...

Yes. I find making a song list, a soundtrack as it were, is helpful for planning out a book.

I have days like that at least three times a week. Don't feel bad. I lost my time card/badge for about a week. Finally found it and am now keeping it locked inside my locker at work when I am not there.

Yep, but with how hectic work has been, "one of Those days" have turned into weeks and months .... *whimper* It's bad enough when I'm making simple mistakes due to multitasking waaaaay too much, but when I don't catch them... *wince*

Thank goodness I keep bubbles at my desk!

Here's one I've done a couple times... I'm DRIVING down the road going to work or class or something. Not sure if I have everything I may need. Pat my pockets.... Yep, got the cell phone.... Frantically pat them.... Where the F**K are my F**K**G KEYS?????

2 seconds later I realize... Oh, yeah... in the IGNITION!!!

Edited with hopeful accuracy. 'cause you know, you may have forgotten.

Had days and weeks like that Mytical, hope it passes soon.

Yep that was more accurate, but at least it was not a mess when I got home. Frozen solid, but didn't go BOOOM.

The water jug story reminds me of something a good friend of mine did. She put a bottle of champagne in the freezer to get it cold quicker. She then forgot about it. Next day she spent all day cleaning up a VERY stinky and gooey mess. The bottle exploded and the champagne turned into a nasty gel-like substance.

I have ADHD. I do that kind of thing on a near-daily basis. I've learned to shrug and carry on. Oh, and to always have a spare set of keys! :P
