  • My dumbest moment

    This happened last january.

I think I was coming home from a friends house cause it was 10:30 at night. Anyway, since I hadn't eaten in a while, I stopped at McDonalds. I go through the drivethrough, give them my order, go up to the window, pay, and then head off....

    D'OH!

I FORGET THE MOST IMPORTANT PART, MY MEAL!! I never went up to the other window to get my food. I just paid at the first window and took off, completely forgeting the reason I made the stop in the first place.

Luckly, I realized my error just seconds after I left. And since it was late at night, there wasn't anybody else there. So no one else ended up with my order. The staff were pretty understanding and I did get my food. It's just scary to think that I can be that forgetful.

I have done that. I actually made it halfway home (only like a block, but still!). I turned around and went back, and they still had my food ready. They got to laugh at me a bit for that one (I was a regular, and they knew I could take it).

Your hunger and fatigue must have been getting to you by then. Simple mistakes like that happen all the time. At least you got your food in the end!

I do this once a month. It's like, you hand them the money, and think, "Okay, my part is done. I am now free to walk away if I need to." And you're hungry, so fight or flight kicks in, so you need to. .. So away you go. :-/
SC: "Are you new or something?"
Me: "Yes. Your planet is very backwards I hope you realize."

A little bit of forgetting is nothing.
Customers should always be served . . . to the nearest great white.

It's someting of a family tradition to leave leftovers from eatting out in the bathroom at the restaurant.

Without fail, everyone has to go after the meal, and for the longest time whoever picked up the food would set it down in the bathroom somewhere, then leave it behind.

We tried purposely leaving it on the table first, but then it'd just stay there.

In the end we managed to stop doing it, for the most part, by making it habbit to carry the leftovers, but NOT bring them in the bathroom, to where one person would hold all the doggy bags, then hand it off when they went.
