Green is depositing your empty plastic bags in the bins provided at the clearance swamp, so they can eventually be recycled.

STUPID is discarding your plastic frozen food bags with bits of spoiled vegetables inside, and your stinky plastic meat wrappers, in the plastic bag bins at the swamp, so one Irving Patrick Freleigh has to gag at the stench when making a plastic bale.

Depends in how they are processed. In most places that recycle, their streams use enough heat to burn/sanitize things like that. In some older places, workers actually have to sift through and remove crap like that by hand.
