So, my green highlighter ran out just now. I went over to the drawer where we keep pens to grab a new one, and found this... thing in there. It's green and vaguely shaped like a highlighter. It even says "HIGHLIGHTER" on the side, just in case there was any confusion. But it says nothing else. No brand name, as if whoever made it was ashamed to claim it. So I pick it up and notice that it's shrinkwrapped in plastic, like it's wearing a condom to protect the user from whatever horrible diseases are contained within.
After removing the shrinkwrap, I notice that "HIGHLIGHTER" was printed on the shrinkwrap. So now I've got a blank green tube with a cap. And surprise, surprise! The felt tip inside is completely dry, despite the shrinkwrap.
(I've been reading GK's posts in the archives, so if this mimics his style, I apologize.)
