  • Merry Christmas

I got a job at the local Bullseye doing early morning stock work.

I was told by someone in the back room that she has backstocked...

    ...

    ..Christmas lights.

We've had Christmas stuff since the 20th of June. I have a pic I took somewhere of the general feeling about this. Will find.

The Disney store I pass by daily has their Halloween costumes in window displays

My store has a limited amount of Halloween candy out already (plus, Costco has a huge rack filled with kid's costumes on display).

Our Safeway has had multi-packs of candy out for a couple of weeks now. Could be for back-to-school or early Halloween...

Just you wait. They'll start selling Christmas stuff again in March. And Halloween stuff around Easter. And Easter stuff . . .
Customers should always be served . . . to the nearest great white.

Christmas stuff has been flying in for the past two weeks. And we have no place to put it.

Well, no place acceptable, which rules out the compactor.

Both Red Circles of Hell and Irv's company are known for this. And Macy's. Macy's had trees up and decorated in September one year. Could we have Thanksgiving first??

Big Box stores aren't the only ones doing this, you know. Hallmark has their annual Christmas Ornament Premiere (On Sale Date) in JULY and they've been doing it that way for AT LEAST 25 years.

Of course, I stopped in one of their stores earlier this month and picked up a couple ornaments I wanted, including the Gold-Plated 50th Anniversary U.S.S. Enterprise from Star Trek.

Ten pallets worth of Christmas shit came in last night. That makes about 20 that have to go someplace sometime before Monday, which is the next truck. FML.
