  • My work email nearly got hacked by the russians!

I feel so important that a little minion like me would warrant such attention!

It seems kinda stupid though. I don't have access to the really valuable trade secrets. I do have a similar name to one of the execs, so maybe that's why I was targeted?

How do you know you nearly got hacked?
“There are two novels that can change a bookish fourteen-year old’s life: The Lord of the Rings and Atlas Shrugged.
One is a childish fantasy that often engenders a lifelong obsession with its unbelievable heroes, leading to an emotionally stunted, socially crippled adulthood, unable to deal with the real world.
The other, of course, involves orcs." -- John Rogers

Tech support stopped it because the login happened in Russia.

I'm not surprised, considering where about 90% of the spammers on here seem to be coming from lately. It used to be China, but now it's coming from parts of the former Soviet Union -- sometimes Ukraine, but mostly Russia.

UPDATE!: Turns out it was a hacker who sent me the email saying the Russians had hacked my email. It was a phishing attempt. Major points for creativity!!
