So another cashier has quit; apparently after being confronted with a cranky customer and was unable to deal with it.
And of course they are hiring lots of extra people, right?
They are dumping all of her shifts onto everybody else. I've got a week off coming up and after that I've got seven consecutive shifts.
I have a job interview tomorrow and I'm really hoping it turns out well.
However ... I also have infections (possibly pinkeye) in both eyes. That should make for an interesting interview.
I've got some OTC treatment for it, and if it doesn't do anything, I'll be calling in sick tomorrow ... even though I'm scheduled for a nine-hour shift. They will just have to cope. Or not.
