I was at my register today when the phone rang. It's strictly an in-house line, and it's almost always somebody from the store's office calling.

Me: "Yeah?"

Caller: "Did you find a set of dentures at your register?"

Me:

As I heard later, the customer was in the line for my register when he decided (what the everlasting fuck!?!) to remove his dentures. And then couldn't remember what he did with them.

I don't actually remember whether anybody found them.
