I'm not one of the chosen ones (for some reason*), but I am on the waiting list, in case the Shop From Home goes better than expected, or people decide it's not for them and quit/go back to their old departments/etc.
*I ran around the store trying to figure out who was in charge of the SFH. After finding out, they came to ME, if you can imagine.
Turns out, there is shock that I wasn't snatched up.
If that's the case... Oh, wait. IIMSINA™®©.
As it also happens, there is a lot of interest from other deparments for my services. I told my department manager that I should start a bidding war, but he'd get first shot. Second choice, produce. Other departments that have shown interest are the front end, deli, occasionally the meat room and maybe another one or two that I don't remember right now.
I think that's about it for now.
