    I humbled a customer today...

    Customer: I know all about these PalmPilots. I've been using them for 4 years.

    Me: I've been supporting them for over 10 years.

    (I remember supporting the original Palm Pilot, the Palm Pro, and the Palm III. )

        Thanx. I just get sick and tired of people who claim they know everything about a product because they use it.

        I've been driving cars for over 18 years but that, in NO WAY, does it qualify me to be, in any way, any kind of car mechanic. I can put the gas in the car. I can add oil and windshield washer fluid, but that's about it.

        Most people have no a single clue how wireless networks work, but think they know more about it than I do (and honestly, I've just hit the tip of the iceberg with my knowledge).

          That's what I started with, and still have, just not using it currently.
