Weed Wacker
At my temp job I work outside all day mowing grass & doing general landscaping stuff. I love it BUT I have 2 other people who are supposed to work with me but actually make my job nore difficult than it needs to be.
So the one day I'm using the weed wacker to clear off some serious weeds from a really large hill. If you've ever used a weed wacker then you know that it can be downright nasty with weeds & stuff just flying all over you. & it's rather uncomfortable when you use a face shield, hearing protection AND it's hot as hell outside & you're sweating like crazy.
So I'm working & I stop & take a breather & notice that my 2 co-workers are just standing there shooting the breeze & watching me! I said..."How come you guys aren't helping me??" They said..."We like to watch you work. You look "Cute". I'm like----->
So i go over to where they're standing & yell at them that they have to work too. You'd have thought I told them to give me a kidney or something! "You don't have to yell at like that!"...the one said. I said..."You don't want to help me? FINE!! I'll do it myself!!"
So they took off all pissed off & I actually got more done with them NOT being there!
The one guy sits on his ass all day in the office & complains when he gets an ouside assignment. The other girl, when she DOES show up, acts like she doesn't want to work.
I love my job & at $17 an hour I'll do the assignments myself BUT it be nice to have some help every now & again. I'm not Super Woman!....LOL.
