Need to Change My Closing Plan

Yesterday, I found out from one of my service desk coworkers that the head cashier didn't want the night crew till to be put out until it was time to leave. The problem is that lately 2 checkers are scheduled until closing and putting one of them in night crew gets me done closer to the time I'm scheduled to leave which usually makes things easier for my ride.

I left a note for the head cashier requesting to be scheduled at least 15 minutes past closing when I'm scheduled to close. I plan to explain myself further when I see him on Wednesday.
