I'm not sure if this is good or bad.

Weekly meeting: Boss Man hinted that some of us might be moving on to other projects/departments/added tasks. This is good. It's growth. They look at our strengths and create projects that become departments which is how we got our on-shore collections team. Sometimes you get in a rut and want to do something new. And I believe--they don't want to say yet--there will be more customer service hires so we don't have to take phonecalls for them so often. It should be rare. We have stuff to do. So that's good. But along with that came something about there's a reason for the push to make stats. I think they might dump more work on collections, as if we don't have enough to do. They now expect us to not only cover 90% of our accounts every month, even if they add a bunch of them mid-month, but the comment was in regard to our dollar balances. Yeah, touch every account but also make sure you are actually clearing or getting paid. I tried in November. I have coverage but so much stuff is not getting cleared until now. I'm a tiny bit nervous about my place in this company sometimes, though Boss has proved time and time again he'll do whatever it takes to help me meet goals. He has done a lot. I guess I have to wait and see what happens.
One thing I do know: working at home is the permanent thing now for most. Office is not big enough to hold us all. Coming in will be a case by case basis and our badges will only be activated for that day, then turned off. Huh.
