I had a shift the other day and during a lull between customers, I was idly looking at my work area to see if anything needed scrubbing (gotta look busy or else management will find something for you to do) and I noticed that somebody had stuck a little heart-shaped sticker on the edge of the work area ... with the colours of a certain country's flag on it (black, red, white and green). I'd only been on the register for a few minutes so it had been stuck there before I started. It'll be interesting to see if it's still there on Wednesday, when my next shift comes up. (At one point towards the end of my shift it was apparent that somebody had already tried to pick it up, but either they hadn't had enough time, or possibly not good nails ... I know how that goes.)
