Note to self: bring a second and unrelated T-shirt to work
I had a lovely tour of the store today ... after my shift ended.
Some guy who was buying "for somebody else" (might've been DoorDash or something similar, I don't know) couldn't find one particular item. It's the store brand but an oddity nonetheless. We toured the dairy section AND the health food section. No luck. I asked a coworker; she gestured vaguely back towards the health food section. So we went back there again ... and there it was. BOTH of us had walked past it the first time.
Then he needed to find something else. This was found in the chips aisle ... or would have been, except we were out of it.
He thanked me profusely while checking the list on his phone, and I sauntered off towards the self-checkout (yep) while trying to move quickly enough that he couldn't ask me for more help -- but without actually running.
