After 3 1/2 years of dealing with customer BS, Managerial BS and just BS in general at work, I am finally getting the recognition I deserve.
I am getting a promotion! Finally!
No longer will I have to deal witht he damned customers who can't seem to think ahead. After all, their lack of foresight is my fault. No more. Someone else will have to deal with that problem.
I have been promoted to Administrative Assistant. It seems that I am compitent enough to handle the position. That and any temps they get into the position never stay long enough. The last one was transferred to another office.
My manager is hoping to get me settled into the position before Christmas, as I've got the day before and the day after off, as well as New Years Eve. I gotta love SOs family for being famous for dropping in at the last minute.
Anyway, hopefully I'll have more stories to share. I know it's been a bit quiet on the reception front
