I went somewhere once where they had a little sign by their bell. It read:

Ring me once for service
Ring me twice to annoy the staff
Ring me three times to have me implanted in your ass!

I hate tose bells so much, having been slave to one, if I go to a small shop that has onw I will wait until someone spots me because I refuse to use the bell.

I also one once, at a little book shop San Diego, that was the size of a small child's head.
