OK, they said they sent me an email and got my automatic out of office reply. What do you think the reply said?

That I was on vacation.

I hope your cell phone conveniently forgot to take the message in that case (if you get what I'm saying). Either that or your finger slipped and accidentally hit the delete message button on your phone. Or, if it was your cell phone, you were in an area where you get no reception so you didn't get the message until you got back.

Hell no! I would have straight out said "You knew I was on vacation so why did you expect to have me get back to you?"

Sometimes, I love being in IT now. We can call people out on things like this.

I wouldn't have even wasted my breath. I would've just hung up.

If I got called out on it, they'd have no way to prove I hung up. Dropped calls and all that.
