it was a really busy day and i had been going non-stop since i opened the store. store was looking decent but not spectacular. last thing i needed was the dm coming in ... oh wait there he is now
if he was having a bad day, you were going to have a bad day and guess what
kind of day i was going to have.
so after ripping me a new one for an hour or so, in comes scooter. scooter was a regular customer. due to illness, he went from walking into the store to using a cane to a walker to a walker with wheels to a street legal, gasoline powered 2 wheeled scooter with horn. it even had a 6 foot long orange flag strapped to the back of it to let people know he was coming.
my back is to the door and dm is facing door. in comes scooter pushing the door open with the hood/front of the scooter. he drives down the first aisle and dm turns his head staring. scooter gets to end of aisle and makes a left turn (how did i know he was turning left?? he used his turn signal). dm turns back to me and says" ya know mr darknight73, every time i come here, i think i've seen it all. and then this" he picks up his briefcase and walks slowly out the door.
