I was covering a class for someone else today (just an hour of classroom support, nothing major), and as I was leaving, one of the young male students said to me "Miss, when you come next week, can you help me with my work?"
I said: "I'd love to, but I'm not here next week, L will be back next time."
Him: "Oh, the old one!"
Me: "Just watch it, matey, she's my mother!" (said with a smile)

I wish I'd had a camera.
