Smart A**

I've been working on this project since 3/12/08. I drew the first floor and sent it out because the documents I had been working with sucked.

A month later it comes back and the comments made no sense. Come to find out the reason the documents I had were crap was because they had been replaced and no one has bothered to send them to me.

So I've been asking, and asking for the new drawings. I finally get enough info to finish the first floor and the stair towers, so I ask again "Before I get started drawing the 2nd to the roof, am I ok with the drawings I have"

Of course the response is no. So I again request new drawings basically saying "I'm not doing anything with the job till I get the correct info" and I send it to the big wigs at the company because I'm fed up.

The response I get?

"Draw Fast"

So I say something to my boss, and here's the response I was told to send:

"Send drawings fast please, I’ve been asking for the new ones since last month."

Seriously, though. That seems to be a talent of all upper management. Lucky you, having a boss who is on your side.

Update!

It gets better. I got a disk today that should have all the new documents right?

No, it has half the new documents, the other half, while newer than what I had originally, are still 4 months old and what I was told not to use.

What with me being a smart-ass, I can honestly say that you manager is not a smart-ass. That was just a stupid comment that he had made.
