How many ways can you amuse yourself in DT?
Ok, I got this idea from another post.
How do you amuse yourself while working in DT? I know that I do not work in the only fast food joint that goofs off occasionally. (Mostly late at night when the "fun" people come out
)
Just a short list of things we have done in the past...
*Replaying the And Theeeennnn game from that movie with the drunk people on friday and saturdays nights.
*Also another fun game with the drunks is.....How Many People? Everytime it is required for us to talk with the customer we have a different person talk.(We have 6 headsets) Then we wait to see if they notice.
*One of the girls will take the order using a valley girl type voice. Then we have one of our big "manly" man types meet them at the window. Bonus if we can get him to try and talk in girly voice.
*Keep count of how many customers mis-pronounce items on the menu. Bonus if they were sober.
*Try and guess what the customer is gonna order. Once I said the same thing as the customer at the exact same time.
*Take turns trying to use Jedi Mind Trick to get them to order item that was messed up on last order. (ie: Car before them ordered 2 soft tacos no lettuce...idiot CW(j/k) put lettuce on them. Thus insues..."You want to order 2 soft tacos") Bonus if it's an oddball item and they actually order it.
*Take bets on how many customers will answer the question "Would you like any Hot, Mild or Fire sauce tonight?" wrong.
Most common answers:
-Yeah
-Both
-Medium
-Hot and Medium, or the other one Mild and Medium *sorry didn't know Medium was an option* Also never fails that they look at me like I have a crackpipe hanging out of my mouth when I tell them we do not have Medium.
It's all in good fun and it helps pass the time on those late nights when your open till 3 or 4 am. So like I said I know there are others out there like us. So what do you do to keep yourself amused?
