Our department recently got a new manager. She came from a store about 75 miles away, and has been here for a little over a week. A few days ago, she left her house to go to work and found her vehicle covered in toilet paper. Her name was written in the dust on the hood.
It seems like it almost had to have been someone from the store, but no one can think of any employee who would have a reason to harass her after knowing her for only a week. For that same reason, it's unlikely that many people know where she lives and what she drives.
My first instinct (as well as that of several other people) was that it was my old boss, who was fired, but the store director doesn't think he would do something like that. I'd like to think he wouldn't as well, but what other explanation could there be? My boss doesn't seem to be frightened by it, but I'm pretty confused.
