I volunteered to step down as AM at my store. I am (not quite officially) Shift Leader.
I had a bad experience with a customer, and I told my boss about it before SC did...and of course, they did NOT.
This was not a decision that was made lightly.
My boss and I have not talked about it in-depth yet, but I will remain acting AM until we hire someone to take over.
The bad thing is, I no longer get my 5 hours a week overtime, but I think I will still be bringing home more money, since my "raise" kicked me into a higher bracket.
