After a long hard battle I finally won. Corp. decided that they would equip stores, including food prep back rooms with trash cans about 18" high x 8' wide and deep, despite only letting us order bags that will fit a 45 gallon trash can. You can imagine how fast they fill up.
Slowly each dept would get bigger trash cans. I finally convinced the GM to let us get bigger trash cans for my dept. The kicker is, we operate 400 or so stores, plus have a similar sized sister chain and we can not order a large trash can via our catalog/supplier.
The GM had me go out to the local hardware store, purchase a few 32 gallon cans on my personal CC and then fill out a paid-out to reimburse me. This was the only way we could get a big trash can.
