    Question

    I have a question, and I don't mean to cause any debates or problems. But, well...

    Is a $5 tip acceptable on a $17 delivery order? I'm no good at calculating percents, and I've never tipped before- usually my mom handles it- so I was just wondering. I am pleased with the swift service and the driver caught my cat when he tried to sneak out while I was signing the receipt.

        it's been said here before but... easy way to do tips is...

        20%....10% x 2.
        so 10% of 17 is $1.7 ... x 2 = $3.4

        and 5 bucks is just a tiny bit under 30% tip for a 17 dollar bill.
        but hey, overtipping for keeping kitty safe is cool

        I use to over tip on purpose for pizza deliveries.. especially when i ordered during really bad weather.
