  • The disappearing customer trick

I figured it out!! I finally made a customer disappear! The other day, my cw had a line of 3 people. Therefore, I called over one of his cust's saying "I can take whoever's next in line over here." I turned around and logged into my till. Noone ever came to my line. I looked around and the person had vanished! I am truly a magician now. I made someone vanish!!!!!!!!

Can you make them less sucky as your next trick?

Ha, that made me picture Macaulay Culkin in Home Alone - "I made my family disappear." Except "I made the customer disappear." Now that makes me crack up!

It amazes me how many people seem to ignore that statement. I can't tell you how many times i said those same exact words only to be met with blank stares (if they looked at me at all). Not gonna hurt my feelings though. I open a register and you're too stupid to come to it, i'll gladly go back to what i was doing before.
Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups.

Andrew, I may be an amateur magician but I am not a miracle worker! There's nothing I can do about their suckiness.

Darn! Still, one can dream, can't he?

Though I may be doing something right, however. The ratio of normal (non-sucky) to sc's that I've dealt with is astronomical. I've worked there for more than 4 months, and you can count the number of true sc's I've had on one hand
