so the company i work for, has decided to "go in a a different direction" and cut back in hours again. by this, they are cutting back on MY department, cosmetics. they want nobody in the department until 10 A.M. now, instead of 8 A.M.

this sucks on so many levels it isn't funny. in other stores, its going to suck, but even worse at mine.

my store is open from 8am-7pm monday-saturday, and 9am-5pm on sunday. this means, i can only work from 10-730 to get my hours. BUT! im not the only one who is supposed to get decent hours in my department. so now, we have 55.5 hours to divide between two almost full time people.....we were each getting aboiut 35 hours before, with two other people working about 4-8 hours each week in the department. so now, those other two people are going to get cut from the department. but, they are no more hours elsewhere in the store, so they just lose those 4-8 hours. one of the two girls, pretty much only works 12 hours a week as it is. so i expect to see her leaving soon. the other person, needs hours cause she has a family, and right now,they are living in a camper behind her fathers house. she needs the hours to get a house.

so the whole situation sucks....i believe im going to go in tomorrow and ask to be transferred to pharmacy at a different store.

My dad works at Salvation Army as a route driver. They are getting paid min. wage. Now the big wigs thought of a crappy idea to let them have 3 days off a week. They already have to much shit to do while on the shift. The drivers get into trouble if they are not back on time. But they have so many tickets that has to be done. And when they have to drive to 3 cities over, that takes time. Now they have to take the customers shit also, instead of just what is printed on a ticket.
