always makes my throat unbelievably dry by the end of a shift. I have to have some hard candy on me to suck on and water to drink, so I can breath, you know?

So I was working, when I started to gag and cough. It was hard to breath in without hacking my head off. (I was coughing into my elbow, just like momma taught me, not in my hand or all over anything )

I wonder what my my customers thought, lol. I know the one I was dealing with at the moment that I had pneumonia or something. Her face said it all

So I am trying to squeak out an apology, that I wasn't sick, it was just that my throat was so dry, and she tossed her money on the counter and told me to keep the change and receipt and then ran out with her tampons and magazines

Too bad you can't have a little sign that says that you have adverse reactions to the a/c.

the don't even have little signs that say "Closed" they expect people to honor the light above the till being off... pft! If a customer see's a cashier standing there, they line up regardless is there is a light on or off.
