Today was Vet day at Awesome Forest. Bosslady decided to take several of our dogs with lingering troubles in, but since this meant taking four *very* active huskies, she needed some help. Luckily we have a group of college students staying up here for a week, as part of a work-exchange type thing. They are from an outdoor education program, and they come up here for a week to learn what it is all about. So she took two of them with her in to the vets.
So Bosslady is in the vets, getting the dogs taken care of and the students are (presumably) chilling in the parking lot. Dogs get checked out, meds are given and the dogs are ready to go.
Bosslady steps into the parking lot, looks left, looks right...no students. They had left, going to parts unknown, taking her keys with them. She was stuck at the vet for over an hour, and the dogs were late for their afternoon meal.
