    Co-worker robbed

    First some info...

    Me, my brother-in-law, and my uncle all work at the same place.

    I got a call just a while ago. Its now 1:32am my time, my phone rang at like 10 minutes to midnight. It was my boss asking if I knew how to get ahold of my brother-in-law. I gave him the number and hung up then called the store to see what was up since my uncle and another co-worker were both at work when I left at 9pm.

    Seems a guy in a mask robbed my co-worker, who was outside pumping gas for customers, and he got stabbed in his hand. The guy got away with about $170.

    My boss was calling to see if my brother-in-law would go in since our co-worker was taken to the hospital.

    It should all be on video but I am guessing thats useless since he had a mask on.

      He had to get 24 stitches. He isnt allowed to work for a few days so my boss is now moving all of us around to cover.

      I now have to work noon-9pm today, 7am-noon tomorrow then go back in for 9pm to 7am tomorrow night.

      He had just made a safe drop or the guy would have gotten way more than he did.

            He is to be off for 3 days according to the hospital.

            I watched the tape tonight and it went down so fast. I now feel bad for thinking he was looking to be a hero.

            He is hanging up the nozzle for a customer and the guy comes right up behind him and he turns and grabs the guys arms and started pushing him away. The guy grabs the cash out of his shirt pocket and pulls his other hand back and thats when he got cut. He grabs his hand and the guy runs off.

            I have warned him before about putting his money in his shirt pocket. Wonder if he will do that again?
