Messed up big in accounting

So me and the evening manager (Sly) are putting up the till in the safe, when I drop a couple. Now of course if this had been a till for a normal register where all the coins had been in the coin tower it wouldn't have been a big deal. But no it's the tills from other departments and coins from three registers go everywhere.



So we just put them all in one till and left a note saying we "bumped into each other" and went on with the nightly pickup. Ugh our accountant is gonna kill me! I'm just glad Sly was willing to not rat me out and say "he did it, he did it!." and took part of the blame. I love it when managers have your back! Thanks Sly!!

Meh. Could be a lot worse. If both drawers were properly balanced, it's simply a matter of splitting it up to they're both even. A bit of a pain, but nothing too serious.

We had the same thing happen a couple times in the grocery store cash office while I worked there. Not to me, fortunately, but I did get to help sort one out.
