  • Don't get mad at me cause I can't be in two places at the same time

I ran into a COS while doing a trash run & she wanted me to go over to the doors & give one of the door greeters their 15 minute break. I said ok & just ket her know that I'd be right back after putting away my trash buggy. So after I dropped off my trash buggy I hightailed it to the bathroom before heading on over to the doors to take care of business but before I was able to go in the bathroom I ran into the one guy from the gas station who wanted me to give him his 30 minute lunch. He told me he asked the one COS & it was ok with her if I did that.
So I headed back to the podium & encountered BOTH of the COS's. The one wanted me at the doors & the other one wanted mne at the gas station. So I started getting mad cause they're holding me up doing my own job tasks. They start arguing with each other & the one looks at me & snaps.."Just go to the gas station!!".
It seems they were mad at me cause they both wanted me to be in two places at the same time! I was pissed cause I wasn't the only member of maintenance in the store! They forgot that there was another person available.

One of the many times I was thisclose to walking out was one really bad night where I was working on final boards all by myself (because "No one else knows how to!" *BULLSHIT*!!). Our shiftleads every once in a while have really bad brain burps and totally forget how to delegate work, and some operators from another department were whining that they couldn't get their product to run properly. So out of nowhere, here shows up their shift lead with a tray full of random crap for me to do as well, because my idiot shift leads told her to go to ME. WHILE the final board supervisor keeps poking her head in every 5 minutes and is demanding to know when "her" boards will be finished.

It is minutes away from being lunch break. Remember how I always say everyone MUST go at the same time, at 1, 3, and 5? Yeah...it was almost 3.

Their shift lead was in a frantic panic about the product that the operators "couldn't" get to run properly. She was in such a panic and so frazzled that she asked Chef Ramsey (RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME, WITHOUT ASKING ME IF I WOULD MIND DOING THIS OR NOT!) if I could skip break and take it after I finished with her stuff. Chef Ramsey, being the asshole he is, said "You aren't going anywhere until you do that stuff and finish those boards."

Michelle came to fetch me to go to lunch break, I took my gloves off, looked at Chef and the other lead, and said "No, I'm going to lunch. You want something done, you do NOT force one person to do all the work!" and stomped off to lunch break.

I came back from lunch and tried to get that crap done with. As I finally finished what the others "couldn't" do, Mentor comes up to me with a tray, saying that this order was the HOTTEST thing on our customer order list, and it needed to be done RIGHT NOW.

This was one of those rare times that I went off on Mentor. I said "Look at these boards. I have been getting hounded ALL NIGHT for them. Then you guys make ME do some other people's shit that they don't want to do, and I get bitched at for quitting working on the boards for a while. NOW you expect me to do the HOTTEST thing on the list and the boards? Do you want it at the same time? What the fuck is wrong with you guys?!"

I should have probably been written up for daring to question my shift leads...but that's ridiculous. This was back when we had a full staff of nearly 50 people on my shift. And they wanted ME to do it all. FUCK THAT.
