OK, so we have a "zone 2" advisory on our alarm system... now zone 2 happens to be everything on the first floor not inside guest rooms...
This means that somewhere on the first floor, not a guest room, there is a smoke detector that is malfunctioning... now I couldn't see any that were obviously broken, so we have no choice but to listen to the advisory alarm go off until tomorrow morning when the maintanence manager will (hopefully) have a chance to disassemble and reassemble every single smoke detector on the first floor that isn't in a guest room to find the ONE that has a fault in it before we can turn off the alarm.
Seriously, that damnable beeping is going to drive me mad.
