A little girl was in my line just screaming her head off and generally annoying my customers in line before them. Unfortunately, I couldn't do much at that point. However, she and her family were then right behind my cust. I waited until she was looking at me and, completely not expecting any success, looked her in the eyes, smiled and put my finger to my lips and said "shhh" (politely, of course.) And believe it or not, she actually shut up and smiled back at me! I looked to the customers and raised my arms in a "Victory" salute, and took a mock bow. I don't get paid enough to solve those problems.
